What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back of House Team Member position at RJM Food Group DBA Bruxie Davis?
Bruxie is in need of back of house team members. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, is reliable, punctual, able to multitask, takes pride in their appearance, is self-motivated, has attention to detail, understands basic math and has an overall desire to provide the best product and experience for our guests.

Back of House (BOH) duties include, but are not limited to:
- Timely and courteous support to all Bruxie staff members in adherence in adherence to our policies and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, measuring tools and BOH kitchen duties
- Thorough knowledge of all ingredients, portion sizes and cooking times for all our food items
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
- Adhering to company, state and local service and sanitation standard
- Maintaining a friendly, helpful, and positive attitude
- Assisting all other team members as needed in their tasks
- Labeling and rotating products on a daily basis within the BOH area
- Working in a fast paced environment
- Multitasking in different roles
- Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed
Requirements:
- Follow a recipe using standard recipe building tools in specific order to create Bruxie’s food items.
- Mobility and manual dexterity; lifting and transporting good containers weighing up to 30 pounds to and from the kitchen on an hourly basis
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a semi-regular basis and perform other diverse physical tasks as needed.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop to keep kitchen clean and stocked; plus the ability to stand up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to communicate openly with staff, management on a daily basis
- Ability to learn and follow all standard operating procedures for the Cook and Prep-Cook positions
- Exposure to wet floors, noise, and extreme temperatures
- Be in tune with Bruxie’s culture, missions and values everyday
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
