What are the responsibilities and job description for the Designer position at RJE Interiors?
RJE has a full time onsite opening for a commericial interior designer in our Cincinnati office. As a designer, you will be responsible for commercial furniture specifications.
Reports to: Senior Leadership
Qualifications:
- Interior Design degree – 4 years
- 1-2 years previous design experience related to the commercial furniture industry, preferred but not required
- Proficient with: AutoCAD
- Preferred: CET
- Preferred: CAP 20/20
- Preferred: Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient with: Microsoft Office suite of products
- Critical/creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at one time, at times within limited timeframes
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Client fact finding process and programming
- Creating design presentations to support furniture typical specifications
- Develop furniture floorplan, specifications, and finish package for approval
- Assists with Bid or Proposal Responses by assembling collateral materials
- Participates in product evaluation and selection
- Provide installation packets
- Conducts field measurements
