Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Store Clerk to join our team. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide assistance in locating products
- Stock shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and special offers
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing shipments
- Keep the store clean and organized, including dusting, sweeping, and restocking supplies
Experience:
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to upsell products and suggest additional purchases to customers
- Proficiency in operating a cash register or similar equipment
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus
- Knowledge of technical sales or electronics is an advantage
