Position Overview: As a Powersports Parts Salesperson at RJ Powersports, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking parts and accessories for their powersports vehicles. Your role will involve assisting customers with their parts needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction through outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers both in-person and over the phone with parts inquiries, orders, and product recommendations.
- Parts Identification: Help customers identify the correct parts and accessories for their specific vehicles using parts catalogs, online resources, and vehicle information.
- Sales and Upselling: Drive sales by recommending additional products and accessories that complement the customer's purchase, and promote current promotions and discounts.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that popular parts are stocked and reorder as necessary. Perform regular inventory checks and assist with restocking.
- Order Processing: Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, including special orders, returns, and exchanges. Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Technical Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of powersports parts and accessories, as well as industry trends and new products. Provide technical support and advice to customers as needed.
- Customer Service: Address and resolve customer issues, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner, ensuring a positive customer experience and fostering long-term relationships.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including service technicians and management, to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in parts sales or a related field is preferred, particularly within the powersports or automotive industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of powersports vehicles and their components. Familiarity with parts catalogs and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
