Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a STRONG focus on customer service and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with moving and transporting goods. This role involves working in various environments, including residential and commercial settings, ensuring that items are safely loaded, transported, and unloaded.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during the moving process.
- Safely load and unload items from trucks, ensuring that all goods are handled with care.
- Operate box trucks and other vehicles as needed for transportation of goods.
- Assist in the packing and unpacking of items as required by clients.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient movement of heavy items.
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and moving vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during moves.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
- Warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in loading/unloading tasks.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday.
- Experience as a delivery driver is beneficial.
