Care Taker + Team Lead

Rizzy's On The Lake in Osakis, MN is looking for a care taker team lead position to join our team. We are located on 2357 Lake St E. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable. This is a flexible, but consistent position. It is our goal at Rizzy's on the Lake to create a quality guest experience with little to no guest interaction. All work should be done behind the scenes as much as possible. All staff must pass a background check, and must have no criminal or drug offenses or charges.

Responsibilities

• Check on resort daily, manage any safety and/or maintenance issues and guest needs to include:
• Assist owner with seasonal deep cleans such pressure washing, deep cleaning and other seasonal tasks as assigned.
• Daily walk of resort grounds, parking area & docks
• Check for safety issues, pick up trash, sweep docks, sweep fire pit area, align seating around fire, empty ashes from fire pit as needed, wipe off chairs, tables in yard, pick up sticks, sweep sidewalks and drive way as needed.
• Clean exterior windows and doors if needed for bird droppings or excessive bugs or spider webs
• Wipe down outside of grills and keep clean from ashes, cobwebs etc.
• Manage propane to grill- change out tank and refill when needed. Clean out charcoal grill as needed.
• Manage firewood supply- order if needed.
• Maintain fish cleaning table and ensure fish discard is disposed of properly and not attracting flies
• Maintain dog area- clean up if needed, change bag as needed
• Take trash containers to curb on trash days, return bins afterwards
• Mow grass & trim as needed (every 2 weeks)
• Maintain gardens flower pots, water daily, weed as needed
• Oversee shore clean up crew- ensure weeds are pulled from rocks, beach and water is cleared of weeds, no trash on shore
• Team lead for cleaners- bring linens to units- remove and bag used ones- check each unit for good clean and reset as indicated on check list.
• Put away linens when returned from laundry
• Manage cleaning and supply orders- replace or send needs to owner to replace
• Sanitize and flush well as needed
• Manage kayaks- ensure they are returned to storage, paddles are maintained etc.
• Boat rentals: check out boats to guests - details and information given when set up.
• Oversee snow removal
• Be available for ON-CALL duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Flexible / on call schedule
• Basic knowledge of systems such as hvac, electrical & plumbing plus light maintenance
