What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Journeyman position at RIZER?
Responsibilities
- Cutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine
- Cutting, bending, fabricating, and installing sheet metal duct
- Studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations
- Connecting motors to control panels and balancing motors to ensure efficient operation and connecting control panels to power source
- Servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintaining stock of inventory, company equipment, and documents all service-related activities
- Determining parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need
- Using a variety of hand and power tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to mount, assemble, troubleshoot, and repair units.
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete specific safety orientation.
