The Painter is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic of apartment interiors and common areas through high-quality painting, finishing, and surface repair. This role ensures that community standards reflect a clean, well-maintained, resident-ready environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair damaged drywall, texture surfaces, patch holes, sand, prime, and finish as needed.
- Properly cover flooring, trim, and fixtures to prevent paint damage.
- Apply paint, stain, sealant, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area, both during and after projects.
- Inspect completed work for uniformity, proper coverage, and adherence to company quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a painter in residential, commercial, or multifamily environments.
- Proficiency in English to communicate with teammates.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, drywall repair, and surface preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
- Basic carpentry or general maintenance skills a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, kneel, climb ladders, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Work in various conditions including occupied apartments, dusty areas, and warm or cold environments during turns or renovations.
Typical schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay: Hourly
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
