Pharmacist

We are seeking a motivated and highly dependable Part-Time Pharmacist to support our team in Bennettsville. Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Management: Compound and dispense prescribed medications with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Safety & Review: Proactively review every prescription for proper dosage, potential drug-to-drug interactions, and clinical appropriateness.
• Clinical Advising: Act as a trusted resource for physicians and healthcare practitioners, providing expert advice on medication interactions and side effects.
• Patient Counseling: Provide patients with pertinent drug information, ensuring they understand how to take their medications safely and effectively.
• Oversight & Compliance: Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain meticulous, up-to-date records of all medications in accordance with state and federal laws.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Licensure: PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with a current South Carolina Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Experience: Previous experience in a pharmacy or other medical field is required.
• Dependability: MUST BE DEPENDABLE. We are looking for someone who is punctual and consistent in their schedule.
• Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to handle complex clinical scenarios.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable explaining medical details to both providers and patients.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on accuracy; a commitment to "getting it right the first time."
• Organization: Strong organizational skills to maintain an efficient workflow in a community pharmacy environment.
