We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payment processing Specialist to support our financial operations and ensure the accurate and timely processing of company payments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial processes, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Process daily payment transactions including ACH transfers, wire payments, reimbursements, and vendor disbursements.
- Review and validate invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile payment accounts, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor payment workflows and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards.
- Assist with month-end close activities, audit preparation, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address payment-related inquiries and provide exceptional support.
- Identify opportunities to enhance payment procedures, streamline workflows, and strengthen operational effectiveness.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in payment operations, accounts payable, financial services, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and payment processing standards.
- Experience using financial software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage confidential financial information.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Familiarity with financial compliance requirements (e.g., CCPA, SOX, internal audit controls).
