VP, Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

Due to continued growth in demand for Rivvit’s Managed Data Service, we are seeking a VP level Senior Analyst to play a hands-on leadership role across product, client delivery, and data strategy. This individual will report directly to the Head of Product and Client Delivery and will serve as a senior trusted partner to both clients and internal teams.

This is a highly visible, client facing role for an experienced investment data professional who thrives in complexity, loves solving hard data problems, and is motivated to contribute across all aspects of a growing business. The ideal candidate is technically deep, commercially minded, and comfortable wearing many hats as needs evolve.

What You Will Do

Product and Data Leadership

• Serve as a senior subject matter expert on investment management data, analytics, and reporting
• Lead the design and implementation of complex data integration and reporting solutions within Rivvit
• Translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable data models, SQL solutions, and product enhancements
• Partner with engineering to influence data architecture, platform design, and technical roadmap decisions
• Contribute directly to ongoing product innovation including exposure to artificial intelligence driven enhancements
• Act as a thought leader in identifying new opportunities to enhance Rivvit’s capabilities and client value

Advanced Technical Responsibilities

• Design, write, and optimize advanced SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for complex investment data use cases
• Perform deep data analysis across upstream vendor systems, market data providers, and client source systems
• Define and implement data quality frameworks including validation rules, reconciliations, and metrics
• Lead root cause analysis for complex data issues and drive resolution across technical and business teams
• Build and oversee high quality dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or comparable BI tools
• Partner on UI and reporting design to ensure solutions are intuitive, scalable, and client ready

Client Relationship and Delivery

• Serve as a senior client facing leader for key Rivvit clients, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point
• Lead client implementations, enhancements, and ongoing production support efforts
• Communicate clearly and confidently with senior client stakeholders including C level executives
• Proactively identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand platform usage
• Ensure exceptional client satisfaction by going the extra mile to solve problems and meet deadlines

Cross Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership teams to support company initiatives
• Support marketing and sales efforts through product expertise, demos, and client success storytelling
• Operate effectively in a fast paced, agile environment with shifting priorities
• Mentor and guide analysts and team members as the organization grows

Qualifications and Experience

• 10 or more years of experience working with investment management data
• Expert level proficiency in SQL with deep experience designing complex queries and data models
• Strong experience with business intelligence tools with Power BI strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of the investment lifecycle across asset managers, hedge funds, private equity, insurance, or related financial institutions
• Exceptional problem solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity
• Highly customer centric with a proven track record of client facing success
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently while also collaborating across technical and non technical teams
• Curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation
• Interest in artificial intelligence and modern data technologies
• Willingness to contribute broadly across the business as needs arise
