About The Role
The Staff Accountant will play an essential role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly close processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and takes pride in the details behind the numbers.
What You’ll Do
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions across multiple accounts and entities.
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Support monthend and yearend close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable—reviewing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation in accordance with company policy and GAAP standards.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Support continuous improvement of accounting systems, controls, and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (a plus)
- 2 to 4 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
- A proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills
- Teamoriented with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
