What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Groundskeeper position at Riviera Heights Homeowners Association?
**This is a part-time position. The hours range anywhere from 12-24 hours per week. This is dependent on the time of year. Winter months will be less hours, but get busier in the Spring and Summer. Please do not apply if these part-time hours do not work for you**
Duties:
- Consistently maintain common areas in a presentable and safe manner for RHHA homeowners and residents to enjoy.
- Routinely inspect and report year-round on conditions of all RHHA common area facilities and assets to identify potential upkeep, safety and repair requirements.
- Coordinate, complete, and report on projects and repairs of all common areas.
- Prepare swimming pool, pool deck, BBQ area and bathrooms for pool opening in May. Maintain those facilities throughout the pool season.
- Set up/clean up for events and clubhouse rentals.
- Maintain grounds, planting beds, landscaping, irrigation systems.
- Order supplies and tools as approved to perform maintenance, repair and landscaping projects.
- Keep office, clubhouse and maintenance office in clean, safe, organized manner.
- Securely store and account for maintenance, pool and landscaping tools and equipment owned by RHHA.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Be familiar with all basic tools, safety and proper use.
- Able to communicate effectively
- Strong time-management skills
- Possess a wide variety of basic skills and knowledge to repair and maintain facilities.
- Be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly to an emergency.
- Ability to maintain an organized workplace and environment.
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs.
