Role Description
This is an on-site role for an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) at Riviera Health Group, located in Santa Barbara, CA. We are seeking to add a APP to fill anywhere from 30-40hrs per week, hours may include up to hours of remote work. Benefits are included if able to work 30 hrs per week. The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for delivering primary care services to patients, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating various medical conditions. The role involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, managing patient records, prescribing medications, and providing patient education. The Advanced Practice Provider will also participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. Pay is competitive in the $70-74/hr range depending on experience.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Experience in primary care medicine preferred though not absolutely required
- Confident in independent clinical judgement and able to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Proactive in self-guided learning but knows limits and when to seek additional clinical guidance
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor at all times
- Previous experience using EHR systems and eager to learn to use Elation proficiently
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
- Bilingual in Spanish and English would be a bonus!
Pay: $70.00 - $74.00 per hour
