Upcoming projects include AVA’s second location in Coconut Grove and Casa Neos Lounge (Fall 2025), and HONŌ Japanese Steakhouse (Spring 2026).

Summary
The Temporary Onboarding Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams by ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for newly hired hourly team members. This role is responsible for coordinating onboarding logistics, preparing employee records and systems access, maintaining certification compliance tracking, and ensuring orientation sessions are organized and ready for execution.
This is a seasonal, part-time position designed to support periods of increased hiring activity. The role is scheduled primarily on Mondays and Tuesdays, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities
- Review onboarding documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to orientation.
- Assist with employment eligibility verification and onboarding compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding status updates within company systems.
- Ensure all onboarding tasks are completed within established timelines.
- Add new hires to required company platforms and systems to ensure onboarding readiness.
- Verify employee information is accurately entered into onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and operational systems.
- Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and Payroll teams to resolve onboarding discrepancies.
- Maintain onboarding checklists and track completion of required setup activities.
- Prepare and maintain certification tracking reports for internal training requirements and state-mandated certifications.
- Monitor completion status of certifications and training assignments.
- Communicate certification requirements and deadlines to team members and leadership.
- Update certification records and ensure compliance documentation is maintained.
- Maintain onboarding trackers and reporting tools to ensure visibility into onboarding progress.
- Identify and communicate onboarding issues that may impact payroll, scheduling, or operational readiness.
- Assist with special projects related to onboarding, compliance, and employee experience initiatives.
- Previous administrative, human resources, talent acquisition, or onboarding experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and technology platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills .
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar business software.
