What are the responsibilities and job description for the AR/AP Specialist position at Riviera Creek Holdings LLC?
Riviera Creek is a growing consumer goods company located in Youngstown, OH. We are dedicated to using science and technology to deliver customers the safest, consistent, most advanced cannabis flower and products available. This innovative approach has developed some of the most sophisticated techniques in the industry.
We are accepting applications for a full-time (salaried) AR/AP Specialist. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Predominately in-office but limited options for flexible schedule and remote work.
Major job functions include:
- Data extraction and manipulation, spreadsheets, pivot tables, and Google Sheets, etc. are needed to perform the AR and AP duties
- Accounts Receivable – create invoices and statements, record and apply cash receipts, create credit memos, and pursue customer collections
- Accounts Payable – verify invoices, record in subledger, reconcile vendor statements, apply credits, and process payments
- Other General Accounting – data entry, journal entries, analyses, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly proficient Excel skills
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience using accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Deadline oriented
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confidential mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Two years’ proven work experience working in AR and/or AP
- Experience with Quickbooks Online
