NOTE: Job is located in Brinkley, Arkansas.  Shift is days (M-F).

Job Summary
Under general supervision of Distribution Manager, performs various routine duties related to shipment of finished products and receipt of raw materials. Coordinates with Warehouse Coordinator on daily shipments both in and out of plant. Required to serve as back up to Warehouse Coordinator when absent.

Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse envrionment and knowledge of shipping procedures preferred.

Principal Job Duties

• Coordinates with Warehouse Personnel and Distribution Manager for timely loading\unloading of shipments.
• Perform inspections on trailer conditions and accept\reject trailer for loading.
• Verify product, load count and batch codes on shipments.
• Use FIFO method when pulling product for shipments.
• Stage loads for shipment as permitted with warehouse space. (FIFO and Min # of code dates)
• Report all receivables to front office with Material Receiving Reports.
• Update office programs as needed during end of day operations.
• Assign drivers to docks based on appointment times- ensure appointment times are met.
• Process shipments in SAP.  Create shipments and enter shipping data into SAP.
• Check out and operate forklift in warehouse- stack \ store product and load trailers.
• Stage loads for shipment when able\needed.
• Check pallets for leaking\busted bags before shipping.  Ensure pallets are suitable to ship.
• Check truck drivers in \ out. Communicates load status to drivers as needed.
• Check out and operate Forklift in warehouse- stack \ store product and load trailers.
• Assist in inventory counts when needed. Including annual inventory.
• Work closely with Quality Department to ensure customer gets the highest quality product.
• Ensure orders are properly loaded to prevent load shifting and overweight issues.
• Input shipping data into SAP when Warehouse Coordinator is absent.
• Print Bill of Ladings and release product from inventory when Warehouse Coordinator is absent.
• Assist Distribution Manager in HACCP Program and Sanitation program as needed.
• Work weekends and overtime as needed to make sure customer requirements are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
