What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Personal Assistant in The Woodlands, TX position at Riveter Consulting Group?
Part-time Personal Assistant in The Woodlands, TX
Household Management & Occasional Nanny duties
Our client in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking to build a stable, professional, long-term household support system consisting of two complementary roles: Part-time Personal Assistant / Household Manager and Part-time Nanny / Family Assistant. The client is intentionally building a household operating system designed to create stability for the children and continuity for the household. The Nanny / Family Assistant will act as primary childcare lead for a 3-year-old, 8-year-old, and 13-year-old, and the Personal Assistant/Household Manager must be available to step in when they are not available.
While many households attempt to combine childcare, household management, scheduling, logistics, vendor coordination, and administrative support into a single position, this client is intentionally building a two-role system. Nanny / Family Assistant= Primary Childcare Lead and Personal Assistant / Household Manager = Operational Backbone & Continuity Layer. The goal is long-term stability with no single point of failure.
If one role becomes unavailable, household operations and childcare continuity remain intact. The objective is to eliminate single points of failure and create stability for the children.
Household Overview:
Three children ages 13 (boy), 8 (girl), and 3 (boy). The 13 year old child is autistic and benefits from structure, emotional regulation support, and ABA coordination. He’s minimally verbal and highly routine-driven. The household operates on an alternating-week parenting schedule. Grandmother lives next door and is part of the family ecosystem. There are no pets.
Housekeeping comes every other week, and there are landscapers and pool vendors who also visit the property.
Household Philosophy:
The household functions best when it is structured, predictable, calm, organized, accountable, emotionally mature, and low drama. Long-term fit is prioritized over speed.
Schedule:
· Part-time flexible 15 to 20 hour weekly schedule
· If stepping in for the Nanny, schedule is afternoon, and evening focused week on, week off Monday to Friday with occasional overnights

Custody weeks focus on childcare execution, transportation, homework support, activity management, and routines. Non-custody weeks focus on household management, scheduling, vendor coordination, organization, administrative support, and remote household management tasks.
