Maintenance Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations.

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and minimize downtime
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate records
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems as needed
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of machinery and equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or relevant degree preferred
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing machinery
- Proficient in welding techniques
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical repairs
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise others when necessary

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
