Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of manufacturing and industrial equipment. In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, coordinate repair and preventive maintenance schedules, and implement efficient systems to maximize equipment uptime. Your leadership will drive safety, quality, and operational excellence across our facilities, fostering a proactive maintenance culture that supports continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and industrial systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, asset history, and maintenance schedules.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts on complex machinery using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals; utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and upgrade of equipment involving high voltage and low voltage systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Manage a team of technicians by providing guidance, training on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge to enhance their skills.
- Collaborate with project management teams to plan and execute facility upgrades or new equipment installations within manufacturing environments.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to industrial maintenance practices, including handling high voltage and electrical systems safely.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory levels, and compliance documentation using CMMS tools.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing equipment performance data and implementing corrective actions proactively.
Skills
- Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with strong leadership capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical experience including high voltage/low voltage systems, and HVAC operations.
- Skilled in reading schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting electrical circuits with tools such as ohmmeters.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and automation systems within manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management, asset tracking, and reporting purposes.
- Strong project management skills to oversee upgrades or installation projects efficiently while minimizing downtime.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
- Supervising experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities is highly preferred to lead teams effectively.
