Responsibilities:
- Provides assessment and appropriate nursing services and physician support for consumers.
- Assists in planning, linking, advocacy, coordination and monitoring health and psychiatric services.
- Assesses needs, develops and monitors Person Centered Plans and documents treatment in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provides education on medication, wellness and health issues to consumers, providers, family members and staff.
- Prepares and administers appropriate screenings, injections, medications and documenting in the electronic health record.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree from an accredited nursing education program.
- One to two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, preferred experience working with individuals with mental illness.
- Licensed by the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation as a Registered Nurse.
