Responsibilities:
- Completes assessments, administers appropriate screenings, injections, medications, and documents in the electronic health record
- Collaborates with member of the team and external providers to ensures coordination and monitoring of medical and behavioral health services
- Provides education on medication, wellness and health issues to consumers, providers, family members and staff
- Assists in planning, linking, advocacy
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited nursing education program
- Licensed by the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation as a Registered Nurse
- One to two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, preferred experience working with individuals with mental illness
- Must possess excellent computer and interpersonal skills, punctuality, ability to organize and manage several projects/tasks simultaneously and work independently
