Role Description The Service Plumber & Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bloomington, IN. This position involves diagnosing plumbing issues, performing installations, maintenance, and repairs on pipes, fixtures, and related systems for residential and commercial properties. The role includes managing service projects from initial assessment through completion, coordinating schedules, materials, and communication with customers and team members. Daily responsibilities include responding to service calls, providing clear explanations of work and pricing, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes, and documenting job details. The Service Plumber & Project Manager also helps maintain tools and equipment, mentors junior technicians when needed, and supports continuous improvement in service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in plumbing installation, troubleshooting, and system design.
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Hands-on experience working with pipes, fixtures, and related components in residential or commercial settings.
- Proficiency in maintenance and repair of plumbing systems, with attention to safety and code compliance.
- Ability to perform routine and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend system life.
- Excellent customer service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and responsiveness.
