Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Spot On POS.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, adhering to food safety standards.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Assist with food preparation and sanitation duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Familiarity with Spot On POS or OpenTable systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing bills.
- Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
