We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Employee Relations Coordinator to join our dedicated Human Resources team. In this vital role, you will foster positive employee relations, support organizational development initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment laws. Your energetic approach will help cultivate a thriving workplace environment where employees feel valued, supported, and engaged.
- Coordinate with RiverWalk Staff, managers, and supervisors to implement employee relations services and programs with a key focus of employee retention and employee relations.
- Under the direction of direct report, establish and administer an exit interview program, conduct exit interviews, and collect or analyze data to identify key trends.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and staff.
- Supports the Director of Administrative Resources in annual enrollments, benefit administration, new hire processing, filing and other HR administrative duties as assigned.
- Work with our agencies (Columbus Travel, Interexchange, Intrax, Wise) to secure Jl students for Summer and Winter seasons.
- Assist with conflict management, employee counseling, and resolution of workplace concerns to promote a harmonious work environment.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by participating in onboarding, employee orientation, and HR sourcing activities.
- Contribute to performance management processes, including employee evaluations and succession planning initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and workers' compensation regulations.
- Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform strategic planning.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on program management, process improvement projects, and organizational design efforts.
- Proven experience in employee relations, HR management, or related fields with supervising or leadership responsibilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and benefits administration.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as ADP, and other HR software platforms is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in talent acquisition strategies including interviewing techniques and recruiting best practices.
- Skilled in data analysis, process improvement, training & development programs to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Pay: $43,680.00 - $52,000.00 per year
