Qualifications
- Working knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing for 8–10 hours, frequent bending, climbing and descending ladders, and repeatedly lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Understand and read customers’ needs and make thoughtful, relevant recommendations based on our unique and constantly changing selection.
- Be part of a tight-knit team focused on creating a welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful customer experience.
- Respond promptly to customer questions and help maintain an organized, clean, and inviting sales floor.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining merchandise displays.
- Receive and organize deliveries, restock shelves, and help keep inventory organized.
- Stay curious and engaged with new wines, spirits, beers, producers, and products as they come into the shop.
Compensation & Perks
- $18–$25/hour, commensurate with experience.
