What are the responsibilities and job description for the Feed Commodity Hauler position at Riverview LLP?
Job Summary
Riverview is looking for a driver to haul feed commodities from supplier locations to our dairy sites across western Minnesota and eastern South Dakota. This is a primarily Monday through Friday position, with occasional Saturday work depending on operational needs. The role averages around 60 hours per week and offers the benefit of being home every night. You’ll run a schedule set ahead of time — picking up ingredients, delivering to dairy farms, and keeping your company-provided truck and trailers clean and Tour Ready. The cows are counting on the feed showing up right and on time, and so is the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up feed ingredients from supplier locations including but not limiting to: Wahpeton, Fargo, Dawson, and Morris
- Deliver commodities to Riverview dairy farms across Stevens County (MN), the Campbell/Wheaton area, and South Dakota farms near De Smet, Lake Norden, and Doland
- Run a weekly schedule that’s set ahead of time, adjusting as loads and site needs require
- Keep truck and trailers clean, maintained, and Tour Ready at all times
- Load and unload safely, taking care that the right product gets to the right site
- Communicate promptly with the team when you spot an issue with a load, equipment, or a site
Qualifications
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Comfortable with early starts and long days on the road
- Someone who takes ownership — notices what needs doing and does it without being told
- A professional who is ready to jump in and help wherever the team needs it
- A strong work ethic and dependability — the kind of person the team can count on
- Feed or commodity hauling experience is a plus
