What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Operations Manager position at Riverview Landscapes?
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
- Managing multiple landscape maintenance crews
- Customer relations
- Selling new prospective work
- Approve weekly payroll for crews and check for accuracy
- Fleet and equipment management
- Manage or help perform seasonal snow jobs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School degree or higher education
- 3-5 years of landscape maintenance related work
- 2 years of commercial snow removal experience
- 3 years of landscaping management experience (preferred)
COMPETENCIES:
- Working knowledge and use of maintenance machines and equipment
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to lead crew members to success
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work within deadlines
- Ability to provide customer service when interacting with the public throughout the work day
- Must have the ability to manage multiple crews at one time
- Understand how to properly evaluate job performance on the individual and the landscaping contract
