The wound care nurse will provide each resident with routine daily nursing care including but not limited to wound healing, ostomies, and skincare regimens.

Qualifications:Education/Experience and Licensure:
- Must have a current state license to practice as a LPN or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Wound care certification preferred
- One (1) year experience in a long-term care setting preferred
General Responsibilities
- Follow all established skin management protocols
- Ability to stage and measure wounds and document per protocol, including documentation on skin conditions other than wounds
- Make weekly rounds with wound care physician
- Ensure care plan is followed
- Work with nursing team to educate CNAs as to proper positioning, training, and skin care
