Housekeeping Aide
Overview:
The Housekeeping Aide provides cleaning services to provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for residents, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities:
- Dusts, mops, sanitizes, and scrubs resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas on a regular basis
- Safely mixes and uses cleaning solutions and stores in a secure area
- Disposes of trash and waste, including biohazardous waste and other materials that require special handling, only in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping services is preferred
- Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred
- Must possess outstanding communication skills and be able to follow oral and written instructions
