- Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations.
- Provide a wide range of general dentistry services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and dental extractions.
- Utilize advanced dental technology and imaging tools to diagnose conditions accurately and develop effective treatment plans.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry procedures to optimize patient comfort and treatment efficiency.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental wellness. Requirements
- Valid dental license to practice as a General Dentist in the respective region or country.
- Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting; experience with dental clinic operations is preferred.
- Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for charting and medical records management.
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and infection control procedures.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal treatments, and other restorative procedures confidently.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and effective communication.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards for protecting patient information.
