Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eligible for QMHA certification
- Valid Oregon Driver License and reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health-related field, or a combination of education, 2 years’ relevant experience, and training
- Experience working with children with severe emotional and behavioral challenges
- Strong communication, scheduling, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Professionalism and punctuality in all aspects of work
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the child/family therapist and teacher in the implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Creatively problem-solve, coordinate services, and implement behavior strategies within the program structure
- Schedule and manage appointments with clients’ parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using agency software
- Protect client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Work occurs in diverse environments—classrooms, therapy rooms, outdoor spaces, and community locations
- Requires standing, walking, running, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to physically restrain children up to age 13 if necessary
- Personal vehicle required for travel
