What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian - Small Animal position at Riverview Animal Clinic?

We’re a busy, privately owned, growing small animal clinic in the beautiful Lewiston Clarkston Valley, and we’re looking for an associate veterinarian who wants to be part of a team.
Here’s what that actually means in our hospital:
- We scrub in together on tough surgeries
- We transfer cases so you actually get your days off

Our caseload is a mix of wellness, urgent/emergent care, and surgeries so you’ll get variety, growth, and support every step of the way. We believe in doing the right thing for our patients while working with clients’ real-life budget.
Compensation includes:
· Salary with options for pro-sal: $110,000-160,000
· 4-day work weeks with 1 Saturday half day per month rotating paid per diem evening work (2-3 nights/week, until 9pm).

Who we're looking for:
· Someone who genuinely cares about patients, clients, and our team.
· Someone who believes great medicine happens through teamwork and collaboration.
· Someone who values communication, takes the time to help clients understand their options, meets them where they are, and builds trust especially when things are hard.
· Must have a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and be licensed in Washington.
