Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of building and ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Conduct grounds maintenance including snow plowing, hardscape repairs, tree trimming, and debris removal to uphold safety standards
- Operate cremation equipment and power lift
- Assist with construction projects related to outdoor spaces or facility improvements using hand tools and power tools
- Follow all safety procedures diligently while handling equipment or working in outdoor environments to prevent accidents or injuries
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience operating cleaning equipment and groundskeeping equipment
- Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, saws, as well as power tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with techniques related to general facility maintenance
- Outdoor work experience demonstrating adaptability to various weather conditions and physical demands
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols related to equipment operation, chemical handling, in varied work environments
