Duties
- Assemble window components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment provided with precision and attention to detail
- Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products within the manufacturing area
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly of window units
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to meet company standards and customer expectations
- Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage, organization, and inventory control within the warehouse or production area
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks, including cutting, machining, and carpentry work related to window frames and glass installation
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols and properly using all tools and equipment
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or construction environments is highly desirable, but not a must
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, machining processes, carpentry, or millwork enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other machinery is essential
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures within a warehouse setting is a plus
- Strong understanding of fabrication techniques related to window or door manufacturing is beneficial
