Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of graphic designers to produce high-impact marketing materials for RiverSource and Ameriprise products.
Ensure all creative output meets high standards of quality and aligns with brand identity and strategy.
Cultivate a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages experimentation and professional growth.
Stay ahead of design and branding trends—both within and beyond financial services—and proactively evolve brand standards.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute integrated campaigns.
Create and manage communications including presentation decks, emails, and other multimedia assets.
Oversee project prioritization and execution with minimal supervision, ensuring timely delivery and strategic alignment.
Continuously evaluate and improve creative processes and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2 years of leadership experience in a creative or marketing role.
Strong artistic vision and ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively.
Excellent written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Demonstrated project management expertise, including strategy development, execution, and performance tracking.
Proficiency in multimedia formats (print, video, audio, social media, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate and address challenges proactively.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services or a similarly regulated industry.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $98,100 - $115,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
