Duties
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency
- Handle internal communication between healthcare providers, staff, and patients to ensure clarity and timely updates
- Enter and maintain accurate data within electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with privacy standards
- Assist with health insurance verification, third-party billing, and revenue cycle management to support financial operations
- Respond promptly to phone inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and guiding patients through administrative processes
- Support medical staff by understanding medical terminology and assisting with documentation as needed
- Facilitate insurance claims processing and follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement and reduce billing errors
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings, demonstrating familiarity with medical workflows and terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation, scheduling, and communication tasks
- Strong schedule management skills to coordinate appointments efficiently across multiple providers
