Position Summary:
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for communicating Riverside Recovery’s program information regarding admissions. Manage admissions with a primary focus on increasing admissions thorough continuously improving customer service, faster call response time, improved efficiencies and ongoing improvement through training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for completing Pre-Assessments and obtaining Medical/Clinical approval for all incoming clients
• Working knowledge of what is offered in each Level of Care offered at Riverside Recovery and all amenities available to clients
• Acute attention to detail
• Responsible for promptly answering all inbound departmental phone calls via CTM
• Greet all new admissions promptly and complete intake process/paperwork for clients
• Identifies, builds, and maintains relationships with key referral partners
• Manages all client related communication and CRM documentation in house and, if requested, remotely, via Riverside provided cell phone and laptop. Depending on the shift scheduled, communication may fall outside of regular business hours (including nights and weekends).
• Able to assess client for any potential harmful tendencies requiring immediate action
• Provide referrals for all clients not appropriate for the facility
• Ability to convert a general inquiry to an admission by managing the process from first call to intake
• Ability to multi-task, work independently with minimal supervision, and problem solve through a variety of scenarios
• Ability to make quick, important, and educated decisions on admits that affect other departments and the flow of the company
• Responsible for helping drive growth with regard to census/revenue. Under the direction of the Director of Admissions, works to meet census objectives.
• Builds and maintains productive interdepartmental relationships
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, including executive management, middle management, patients, and those affiliated with external agencies
• Documents each call/referral and all conversations in Salesforce
• Conduct tours with potential clients and families
• Coordinates transportation when applicable
• Conducts daily follow-up calls as appropriate
• Logs all pertinent shift activity in shift report
• Update and maintain all Admissions related Microsoft Office docs
• Participates in ongoing training as appropriate
• Participates in all mandatory departmental meetings
• Obtains/completes insurance verification for all incoming clients and possesses ability to review benefits with potential clients and families
• Maintains list of all available referral resources
• Be on call during scheduled times
• Assist in training to new department employees (if requested by Director of Marketing & Admissions)
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED, or Associates degree or higher in Accounting, Psychology, Social Work, Health Care Administration or Business Administration preferred
• 2-4 years' experience in a medical or healthcare or sales setting - required; 5 years preferred
• Must have analytical skills
• Must have knowledge of insurance providers and services covered
• Strong customer service experience working in a professional office setting required
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
