Job Title: Service Advisor
Job Summary:
Riverside Powersports is looking for a motivated Service Advisor to join our service team. This role is responsible for working directly with customers, creating repair orders, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring a smooth service experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with scheduling service appointments
- Write and manage repair orders for ATVs, motorcycles, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, scooters, and other equipment
- Communicate customer concerns clearly to technicians
- Provide repair estimates and explain recommended services to customers
- Track service progress and keep customers updated on repair status
- Use Lightspeed DMS to manage repair orders, parts, and service documentation
- Coordinate with the parts and service departments to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean and organized service counter area
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic mechanical understanding of powersports equipment preferred
- Experience in a service writer, service advisor, or dealership role is a plus
- Comfortable using computers and dealership software systems
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
