The Director of Quality at Riverside Mfg. is a hands-on senior manager who combines strategic oversight with operational involvement in day-to-day quality activities. As a leader, the manager oversees a quality team focused on ensuring products and services meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with government and private regulations. This dynamic manager promotes a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Sets the vision, goals, and objectives for quality management team, aligning them with organizational strategy and culture.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team, including QA staff and inspectors, fostering a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture.
- Oversee the administration of all voluntary and required regulatory compliance programs.
- Oversee the maintenance and execution of Riversides Quality Management System.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, internal standards, and applicable industry requirements.
- Oversee internal and external audits, investigate product defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure quality team engages and supports operations activities.
- Work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and other teams to address quality issues in real time, support manufacturing processes, and resolve non-conformances.
- Respond to customer issues and corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain standardized quality procedures, inspection methods, and documentation systems
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes to eliminate recurring issues
- Establish, track and respond to KPI’s.

- Strong understanding of quality standards, manufacturing processes, and relevant regulations.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams, communicate quality goals, and build quality into organizational culture.
- Practical, solutions-oriented approach to identifying and resolving operational gaps.
- Proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis, and performance measurement.
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
