Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role is a full-time, on-site position located in Genoa, OH. The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tools, performing machine offsets, and verifying dimensions using measuring instruments to maintain quality standards. The role involves routine inspection of parts and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to optimize processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have Journeyman's card.
- Candidates should possess skills in Machining and Milling for producing precision parts.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Knowledge of CNC programming basics and ability to adjust machine parameters is beneficial.
- Previous experience as a CNC machinist or in a similar precision manufacturing role preferred.
- Ability to lift moderate loads and follow all safety guidelines.
