What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precertification/Benefits Specialists position at Riverside Imaging Specialists?
Employee will be responsible for obtaining pre-certifications and benefits for outpatient testing with providing exceptional customer service to patients and referring offices. MUST be Multi-tasked in a very FAST pace environment.
Responsibilities (Receptionist):
- Answering a multi-line phone system
- Responsible for coordinating completion of prior authorization, if needed
- Obtaining detailed benefits for ordered test
- Verifying patients insurance eligibility
- Scheduling/rescheduling patient's
- Entering patient data into the computer
- Computer literacy required.
- Hours: 8:30am-5pm
- Location: Macon, GA
- Job Type: Full-time
- Preferred knowledge of medical terminology.
