Overview
Responsible for ensuring grounds are maintained to standard as assigned at Riverside Health System properties. Job assignments will include but not limited to, use of push mowing equipment, power edging, blowers and string trimming equipment; mulching, trash removal, weeding, leaf removal; assist with hedge trimming, planting, and other landscape jobs. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment such as greasing, oil levels, tire inflation, and cleaning/washing of equipment; also performs snow removal/storm clean-up includes, but is not limited to shoveling and cleaning of entranceways, walkways and parking lots of snow, ice and/or debris.

Follows guidelines for proper body mechanics, hazardous material handling and universal precautions to avoid personal accidents and injuries. Maintains a safe work area and wears all personal protective equipment; i.e., ear plugs, glasses, safety vests, wears all personal protective equipment; i.e., ear plugs, glasses, safety vests, boots, gloves, and rain gear.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize and accomplish assignments with accuracy and timeliness. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a work environment that reflects performance excellence.

Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)
Experience
- Less than 1 year Landscape experience in residential or commercial setting (Preferred)
