Role Description
This is a full-time,on-site role for a Respiratory Therapist at Riverside Hospital of LA in Alexandria, LA. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing care to patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory issues. Daily tasks include administering respiratory therapy treatments, weaning mechanical ventilation, bipap monitoring and assessing patient progress, and collaborating with medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Experience in Cardiopulmonary care and Respiratory Therapy
- Skills in Respiratory Care and Medicine
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current state Respiratory Therapist licensure
- RRT or CRT accepted
- Experience with long-term acute care is a plus
- Willing to work weekends and/or nights
- Must be able to work holiday rotations
