Performs broad spectrum of clerical/receptionist duties for departments under nurse manager. Supports Division/service line in meeting over all functions and RHS Mission, Vision and Values. Under the direction of the Nurse Managers enters payroll pay codes, checks time punches, enters payroll adjustments and provides 1:1 reports.
What You Will Do
- Participates in Service Excellence activities (i.e. Customer Service Week) and initiatives and demonstrates ability to handle customer concerns.
- Coordinates coverage following assessment of identified needs by Nurse Manager and making calls to fill vacancies or call-ins. Communicates in writing negative patterns/trends to Nurse Manager, runs attendance reports, commitment reports and other reports as needed. Assist with the coordination of new hire schedules.
- Assist Nurse Manager in clerical duties that are associated with departments responsible to the Nurse Manager.
- Communicates directly with employees to resolve payroll issues. Floats time to appropriate units in a timely manner. Shifts hours of overtime to appropriate units if necessary. Enters vacation, sick, etc. time into Kronos. Enters payroll corrections and payroll adjustments after seeking approval from Nurse Manager. Maintains regular communication with the Nurse Managers. Keeps all payroll issues confidential.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
- 2 years Related experience (Required)
