This position is Full-Time working 4 10-hour shifts a week– No weekends, no nights and no holidays!

Job Requirements:
- Active NJ Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 1 year experience working with pediatrics
- CPR and BLS certifications are required

Job Responsibilities may include:
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician.
- Managing all medical emergencies with the assistance of the RN/DON
- Alerting the nursing director about changes in the child’s medical status, the beneficial or untoward
- Coordinating the services provided by other staff to meet the mutually identified health care and psychosocial needs of the child.
- Providing health education to the child’s guardian.
- Serving as an advocate to assist the child’s guardian in resolving problems.
- Serving as an advocate to the child. Insuring the child’s safety both at school and home.
- Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting as necessary.
- Participate in all inspections as well as all necessary preparations for surveys. This includes chart audits as well as performance improvement checklist.
