Danvers Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Elementary Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality academic instruction and support to students in grades
K–5. This educator will deliver small-group instruction in reading, writing, and math both within the general education classroom and in specialized settings.
The ideal candidate is a flexible, student-centered professional who values inclusion and is passionate about helping all learners reach their full potential. The teacher will work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure that instruction, accommodations, and interventions are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities
Provide small-group academic instruction in reading, writing, and math aligned with students’ IEP goals.
Deliver specially designed instruction in both inclusive and pull-out settings to support skill development and access to the general curriculum.
Collaborate with general education teachers to design and implement differentiated lessons and accommodations.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
