What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Agent position at Riverside Convention Center?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Patrol interior and exterior of facility by foot and/or by driving battery operated golf cart.
- Protect company/facility assets from theft, vandalism, misuse, or any other form of inappropriate acts.
- Operate a computer software based security surveillance/alarm system for monitoring and operation purposes.
- Write reports and other forms of assigned daily documentation in a thorough, clear, and precise manner.
- Interact, direct, and lead fellow coworkers, guests, and clients at any given time for operational, safety, and/or emergency purposes.
- Assist business office with shipping and receiving tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be computer literate and have the ability to adequately operate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
- Must be able to efficiently operate and communicate using office phones and company smart/cell phones.
- Must be able to operate and efficiently communicate using two-way handheld radios.
- Efficiently and responsibly work in an unsupervised environment while still completing daily tasks as required by company and department protocol.
- Must be able to work well with others and present a hospitality friendly personality while interacting with coworkers, guests, and clients.
- Guard Card Required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time without being relieved.
- Able to stoop, kneel, and/or lift parcels, packages, and equipment of 55 lbs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.25 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 per week
