Job Summary And Qualifications
As a CT Technician, you will scan, or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in order to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of patients. - Under direction of the Lead CT Technologist, as designated by the
- Administrative Director of Imaging
- Performs a variety of CT Procedures
- Knowledge of anatomy and understanding of principles of physics, electricity and the methods of exposure
- Knowledge of ALARA standards and requirements
- Ability to set-up and operate CT equipment of diverse variety
- Knowledge of patient care and sterile techniques
- Certificate of Completion for Venipuncture training and education required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT – CT) required
- American Heart Association BLS required
- Ca. Dept. Of Health Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT) required
- AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology required
- 1 year of CT experience in acute care facility required
- Trauma experience preferred
