Outreach Specialist - Youth & Family
Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as an Outreach Specialist!
In this vital role, you will join a compassionate, person-centered team that partners with families in their homes and communities to strengthen safety, resilience, and connection.
As An Outreach Specialist, You Will
- Build trusting, supportive relationships with youth and caregivers while providing safe, therapeutic, and skill-based interventions that enhance social, emotional, and family functioning.
- Play an active role in behavior support, collaborative limit setting, and crisis intervention, helping families navigate challenging moments with care and respect.
- Connect youth and families with meaningful community and program resources so they can build on their strengths and move toward their own treatment goals.
- Provide transportation to treatment-related activities and events, making it easier for families to fully participate in services and reach their goals.
- Work closely with Program Management, Home-Based Clinicians, and the Treatment Team to ensure services are well-coordinated, responsive, and truly centered on each family’s needs and voice.
- Flexible hours between 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. to meet the needs of the families

Required Skills
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Bachelor's Degree in mental health related discipline and one (1) year experience working with youth preferred
- Associate Degree in Human Services field and one (1) year experience working with youth
- High School Diploma or GED and minimum of two (2) years of experience working with youth required.
- At least six months experience working with children and/or adolescents with emotional difficulties and their families required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
